UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
The UMW of Bethany has been in existence continuously since the church was founded over fifty years ago.
The twenty seven member group, meets in the church Parlor at 10:00 a.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from September through June.
Meeting topics include Bible study, Mission Studies, and presentations on a variety of other topics.
The UMW also responds when called upon for help with church activities, including food for bereaved families, prayer and help for needy members and others, etc.
In addition, in the fellowship of United Methodist Women the women of Bethany find mutual love, prayer, and support in a variety of circumstances. New members and visitors are warmly welcomed.
BETHANY ALTAR GUILD
The Altar guild decorates the sanctuary, cares for the linens and articles on the Altar, and prepares for communion each Sunday.
PRAYER GROUP
The prayer group meets weekly to pray for the needs of the church, the community, and the world.

BREAKING FREE
Is the past holding you back? Are you unsure about the future? This class will learn how to break free from the past and discover God's plan for each of us.
We meet every Sunday Morning in room 11 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The nursery, children's Sunday School, and Youth classes are available for your children while you are in class.
CROCHETING, KNITTING, & SCRAPBOOKING
Would you like to take a break from the hectic week? Want to learn how to knit or crotchet, or just need some time to relax?
Bring your favorite project and join us on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 in the Room 42/43. We have activities for ages 0 to 18 years of age, including the Youth Group, Veggietales, an Elementary Group, and a nursery for the little ones, so you can enjoy yourself knowing your family is well cared for. Dinner is served from 5:30-6:30 in the fellowship hall. $5 adults, $2.50 children
